We are American and European professionals, speaking a variety of languages, that have partnered with the most savvy, well connected, English speaking, Portuguese Legal professionals. Collectively, we speak English, Portuguese, Italian, German, Swahili, and Swedish. This means you will work with vetted and trusted professionals to provide Portuguese expertise with the efficiency, personal attention and execution American’s expect.

We are based just outside of Lisbon in Cascais, Portugal. In the United States our office is located in Portland, Oregon.

  • Your American liaison, Cristen Chambers came to Portugal in 2020 and, like many Expats, she had a bit of a rough landing. Working as Commodities Trader in the USA with Mega Retailers such as The Home Depot, she is a specialist in fostering collaborative relationships and understanding deadlines. Though thrilled to move to such an amazing country, she found navigating Portuguese bureaucracy, the language and the time investment to accomplish simple tasks, quite frustrating. Her understanding of American’s superior standards concerning business execution, makes her a perfect ambassador for your streamlined residency experience.

  • Our legal partner, Ricardo Marone, is a lawyer registered with the Portuguese Bar Association since 2016. Previously, registered with the Brazilian Bar Association in 2005. Ricardo graduated from the Law School of Mackenzie Presbyterian University with a Master's Degree in Business Law and specializing in Immigration Law in Portugal, since 2016.

    Ricardo works directly with clients, being readily available for questions or concerns. His long standing relationships with Portuguese immigration officials and government entities results in a faster and more efficient road to Portuguese residency.

    His primary areas of focus are Visa and Residence Permits for foreign citizens, Applications for Portuguese Nationality, and Registration of Tax identification numbers (NIF).

    As a lawyer, duly registered with the Portuguese Bar Association, he is able to carry out all kinds of residence permits.

    Ricardo also has experience with Constitutional Law, Commercial Law and Civil Law.

  • Lory Iscaro is our lifestyle ambassador who will guide you seamlessly through the details of getting you set up in your everyday life.  After making seven International moves herself and being an event planner, she and her family arrived in Portugal in 2020. Lory was born in Germany to an Italian family, she is fluent in English, Italian, German and Swahili. She loves the outdoors, cooking, interior design, tennis and other sports. She will guide you to the best neighborhoods, real estate partners, schools, banks, athletic clubs, restaurants and more.
